# Operator Runbook: Field Telemetry & Sync Maintenance

Technical procedures for operator synchronization between mobile devices, workstation, and VM.

## 1. Mobile SSH & Termux Setup
- **Target Port:** `8022` on local LAN (or port `2323` on remote VM).
- **Start Termux SSH Daemon:** In Termux, type:
  `sshd`
- **Check Termux IP:**
  `ip -4 addr show wlan0`

## 2. Pulling Tracks from Mobile via rsync
From workstation:
```bash
rsync -avz -e "ssh -p 8022" u0_a362@<DEVICE_IP>:/data/data/com.termux/files/home/storage/shared/Android/media/net.osmand/tracks/ /home/user0/git/travels/geo/01_raw/gpx/
```

## 3. Running the Compilation Pipeline
To compile raw GPX files and harvest OsmAnd links into GeoJSON:
```bash
python3 /home/user0/git/travels/scripts/compile_geo.py
```

## 4. Multi-Tier Backup & Deployment
- Deploy web assets to production VM:
  `bash /home/user0/git/travels/scripts/deploy_portal.sh`
- Push to GitHub:
  `git push origin main`
