Charles DiBella
Charles DiBella builds practical systems to solve complex human problems. He studies how people perform, how our minds evolved, and how large systems operate.
Core Project: Systemic Dignity Infrastructure (SDI)
His primary work provides a permanent exit from chronic street homelessness. The SDI gives cities a clear blueprint. It relies on three physical actions to keep vulnerable people safe:
Health First: People receive medical care and build healthy daily habits before they move into permanent apartments. This early step stops them from losing their homes later.
Smart Capital: A new financial model allows cities to buy empty office towers cheaply. Builders then convert these spaces into safe, supportive housing.
Strict Science: Planners must test the system like an experiment. They must prove that the health steps work before they construct more towers.
Beyond urban design, Charles writes about global risks, artificial intelligence, and the ancient philosophy of stoicism. He is also a dedicated long-distance bicycle adventurer.
